Wild places radiate a vibrant healing energy. These natural areas are alive with beauty; the passion of life and a profound honesty. When I am in places alive with this energy, I am honored to feel and to be immersed in it, joyful to communicate this quality on canvas. It is my hope that this energy of wildness, joy and healing will forever emanate from the painting to the viewer.

 

Most of the locations I paint are in Oregon, though I also have painted a series of southwestern landscapes as well as Hawaiian locations—always seeking the areas that speak of joyful wildness and unadulterated beauty.
